Single-Parent Scholarships Program

For the 2019-2020 academic year, Assistance League of Greeley awarded thirteen scholarships totaling $65,000. Scholarships were awarded to six University of Northern Colorado students and to seven Aims Community College students.

Recipients of the scholarship must maintain a 3.0 (undergraduate) or 3.5 (graduate) grade point average, be a custodial single parent, living apart from the other parent, with a child or children (age from birth through completion of secondary school) living with them no less than 50% of the time, and be a resident of Weld County.

Since the scholarship program began in 1991, Assistance League of Greeley has awarded single-parent scholarships totaling over $846,000. Our philanthropic organization is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that raises funds for its philanthropic programs by operating the Bargain Box Thrift Store, by grants and funding activities, and through generous donations.
