Single-Parent Scholarships Program

For the 2018-2019 academic year, Assistance League Greeley awarded seventeen scholarships totaling $61,200. Scholarships were awarded to University of Northern Colorado students and to Aims Community College students.

Recipients of the scholarship must maintain a 3.0 (undergraduate) or 3.5 (graduate) grade point average, be a custodial single parent, living apart from the other parent, with a child or children (age from birth through completion of secondary school) living with them no less than 50% of the time, and be a resident of Weld County.

Since the scholarship program began in 1991, Assistance League Greeley has awarded single-parent scholarships totaling over $781,000. Our philanthropic organization is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that raises funds for its philanthropic programs by operating a thrift store (The Bargain Box) and receiving donations. For more information about the Single-Parent Scholarship, call (970) 353-2226.
